Thank you for choosing our manual hoist, ratchet puller, and electric hoist repair services. To facilitate this this process, please read the following. 

Manual Hoists and Ratchet Pullers

  1. To provide you with a repair cost estimate for your manual hoist or ratchet puller, Vulcan Hoist must disassemble it. An estimate fee of $50 (plus tax) will only be charged if you decline the repair after you have received the estimate.
  2. If the repair estimate is under $100 before taxes and excluding the fee for a new certificate, your manual hoist or ratchet puller will be repaired without sending you a quote beforehand.
  3. The fee for a new certificate is $60 (plus tax). Please notify us before the repair if you wish to receive a new certificate.
  4. For repair estimates over $100 before taxes and excluding the fee for a new certificate, we will send you a detailed quote. You will have 1 month from the reception of this quote to give us permission to go ahead with the repair. After this delay, we reserve the right to dispose of the product. 2 reminders will be sent after Vulcan Hoist sends the quote.
  5. If you choose not to have your manual hoist or ratchet puller repaired, you must retrieve it or arrange its transportation within 5 business days. Past this delay, we reserve the right to dispose of it.
  6. Products which are not repaired will be returned disassembled.
  7. Once your manual hoist or ratchet puller has been repaired, you will have 30 days to come retrieve it or arrange for its transportation. Vulcan Hoist reserves the right to dispose of it past this 30-day delay.

Electric Hoists

  1. To provide you with a repair cost estimate for your electric chain hoist, Vulcan Hoist must disassemble it. An estimate fee of $200 (plus tax) will only be charged if you decline the repair after you have received the estimate or if you do not buy a new electric hoist.
  2. If the repair estimate is under $500 before taxes and excluding the fee for a new certificate, your electric hoist will be repaired without sending you a quote beforehand.
  3. The fee for a new certificate is $120 (plus tax). Please notify us before the repair if you wish to receive a new certificate.
  4. For repair estimates over $500 before taxes and excluding the fee for a new certificate, we will send you a detailed quote. You will have 1 month from the reception of this quote to give us permission to go ahead with the repair. After this delay, we reserve the right to dispose of the electric hoist. 2 reminders will be sent after Vulcan Hoist sends the quote.
  5. If you choose not to have your electric hoist repaired, you must retrieve it or arrange its transportation within 5 business days. Past this delay, we reserve the right to dispose of it.
  6. Electric hoists which are not repaired will be returned disassembled.
  7. Once your electric hoist has been repaired, you will have 30 days to retrieve it or arrange for its transportation. Vulcan Hoist reserves the right to dispose of the electric hoist past this 30-day delay.
